The staff at Callaway-Jones are incredibly compassionate, responsive, and professional. When my father passed away, at no time during the process of carrying out his final wishes did I ever feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. Amelia DelaRosa was incredibly helpful and patient in walking me through our family's options based on how my father wanted to be remembered after he passed. I was very thankful to have her guidance throughout. Brady was also extremely professional and helpful when I first called. He made all the necessary arrangements and kept me updated every step of the way. I have heard so many stories about people having negative experiences with funeral homes after their loved ones die, and because my father's passing was somewhat unexpected, we never really had much time to plan for it. We decided to use Callaway-Jones based on their reputation in the Bryan/College Station area, and I'm so very glad we did!

What do you do to thank a crew and organization that treats your late father like their own? How do you thank a woman that gives her all to honor your dad? And who's family had many Irish cultural needs, who delivered his funeral and burial flawlessly? There is no way we can ever thank Erin Matous for her services. She honored my father in a way, through her professionalism and unrelentless respect, for loved ones that have passed. She stayed in constant communication with myself and the family, no matter the time of day or night, week days or week ends. When you go through this, you don't realize you need constant support. Erin Matous and her crew did just that. She supported us, not only in the process, but in spirit and love, and we will forever be grateful to her and her staff. We can never thank Erin enough.

Callaway Jones was caring, kind and helpful when it came to my husband’s mother’s memorial. They take of details which most of us are unfamiliar with, and personalize the memorial pamphlet, created a background for our service, transported all flowers to the College Station cemetery, had chairs and a tent set up for the comfort of our elder family members. Amelia was our key point person and did an exceptional job, working extra to upload our photos. We feel so at peace with the sweetness and care they provided.

Callaway-Jones did a fantastic job with my father's funeral arrangements from beginning to end. Their kindness, attention to detail, and helpfulness was second to none. They made a very difficult time in our lives much easier for us with an unexpected death.

Our family had a memorial for our Loved one here and we were all very satisfied and impressed with the level of care, compassion and customer service. I love the personal touches added by the Officiant Dawn Lee Wakefield. She went the extra mile to learn as much as she could about our loved one and did a fantastic job. If you didn't know any better, you'd think she knew our loved one all their life. I highly recommend Callaway-Jones- all the staff were so great and kind to us. You will not be disappointed.

Our family would like to share our deepest gratitude for the team at Callaway-Jones, and especially our Aftercare Estate Specialist Erin for their supportive attentiveness, attention to detail, and assistance provided to our family as we prepared our dad’s celebration of life ceremony. Erin went above-and-beyond to ensure our dad's service was special (e.g., scheduled actual Marines to present the flag for my mother during Taps), responded to texts and emails (when she should have been offline), and much, much more. Erin made our family feel special, recognized, and cared for at one of the most difficult times of our lives. The team at Callaway-Jones did a beautiful job artfully arranging our dad’s belongings and artifacts for the service, created a personalized guestbook, a beautiful picture montage video, and high quality program, and more—in a very short timeframe. Our family unequivocally recommends Callway-Jones to other families who are searching for a funeral home and crematory as they will personalize your experience and provide you comfort and the upmost care.

I lost my 5 year old to cancer and we cannot thank you enough for all you have done. This has been one of the most difficult times of our lives. Ya’ll have reassured everything was okay and made sure everything was just perfect. Thank you for such a great experience. The staff at Callaway-Jones is always caring and professional. They assist during the most troubling times with attention to detail and sympathetic hearts. They were easy to communicate with, respected our wishes and never pressured us for more than what we wanted. Knowing my dad was in great hands means the world to my family. I am grateful for an amazing business that is easy to work with and I know when I refer people they, they will get the same treatment we received.
